Pam’s career with AT&T in Kansas City spanned several job roles and responsibilities across the Marketing, Engineering and IT and over 20 years. In 2005, after years of surviving downsizing, she lost her job with AT&T and quickly for a position with Sprint where she continues to work as a data analyst in wireline cable.

B.A. in Communications, Loyola University, Chicago (formerly Mundelein College).

A Kansas City / Overland Park resident since 1981, the year she married Jeff Ippel, an engineer at Honeywell since 1981.

Pam and Jeff’s children attend KU.  Both attended Cottonwood Point, Harmony Elementary and Blue Valley Northwest.

In 1992 the family moved to their current home in Blue Valley School District.  Pam’s community involvement includes in many leadership roles.

  3. PTA member K-12 – Blue Valley schools
  4. Church of the Resurrection Sunday school teacher
  5. Vice President, Windham Hill Home’s Association – 5 years
  6. Organized a Blood Marrow Registry Drive (added 20 to registry)
  7. Family Team organized for JDRF walk – have raised over $20,000 for JDRF
  8. Women of AT&T (charitable organization) Vice President
  9. Telephone Pioneers
  10. United Way Blue Diamond Donor
